Walk and Talk Central Houghton

Feet First's quarterly Walk & Talks are led by local leaders in neighborhoods going through transition. Perhaps it's a viaduct being replaced, new zoning and bus rapid transit, or a new housing development, our Walk & Talks give you a new perspective on the ins and outs of how an area becomes more walkable.

Our next Walk & Talk will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 6pm-8pm. We will be heading to Kirkland's Houghton Neighborhood. Join us for a short walk led by Mayor of Kirkland Joan McBride along with Lisa McConnell from the Eastside Trail Advocates. This event will provide participants the opportunity to take a walk around the area and stop at a few locations, before ending with a reception.
